The Process
Every project we undertake is different and is bespoke designed for our
client.
Here we take you through a typical process of production with Capture
1.
1/ First contact:
We offer a free, no obligation consultation with a Capture 1 producer.
Here, we will listen and learn about your organisation and ultimately
work to understand what you are trying to achieve.
2/ Free Proposal – still no obligation!
A written presentation will be prepared that outlines options and ideas
as well as a budget breakdown and quotation specific to your proposal.
3/ Client Decision
As the client, you decide on the appropriateness of the proposal with
respect your needs. When the solutions are in line with what you are
trying to achieve, the client gives the go ahead for the project.
4/ The project takes form
A planning meeting will take place, from which the Capture 1 producer
will address all the project needs and requirements in order to organise
the full pre-production process. From this moment there will be a personal
service and relationship formed with you as the client and the Capture
1 team.
5/ Pre-production
It is essential for us to ensure that the video programme will absolutely
meet all of your required objectives and therefore the planning process
is critical. Considering the project objectives, content possibilities,
script and visual ideas, logistics and possible contributors to the
programme, we would work out a script first draft. This would include
voice over, graphics, shot plans, etc. as well details of the people
that we were to be filming with and interviewing, and the kind of content
that we would expect from them. We would then go through this script
and logistical information together to fine-tune and polish. The script
would be used as a basis for the project planning, which would include
scheduling filming, arranging access, drawing up shot plans, shooting
schedules, interview questions etc. Everything would be planned to ensure
that all filming will be smooth and efficient and time effective as
possible.
6/ Filming Process
Capture 1 ensure that the filming that takes place is unobtrusive, smooth
and easy for everybody involved, using no fuss, professional and creative
crews.

high quality end programme created to your deadline. Post-production
includes off-line editing, where a first draft of the programme is created,
graphics and effects work, voice-over, and audio editing, music, which
can be composed especially for your programme and on-line editing and
